Heritage Centre

The historic houses complex displays on the site three typical North Queensland houses:

• a simple miners cottage built about 1884,
• a comfortable villa residence dated 1888, and
• a farmhouse about 1921.
  

Each house is furnished in a style appropriate to it and with an emphasis on items made in North Queensland.
