Early morning pre sunrise tour [ night work permit pending ]

This short but invigorating tour is simplicity at it best, we launch pre dawn and simply place ourselves in the middle of the river. Quite often the river is mirror calm at this time of day, with perfect reflections on the water on the stars and changing colours of the sunrise. Listen as the birds come to life for the day, see and hear fish feeding, turtle swimming past. The we go for a paddle through kingfisher lagoon before heading back to shore .

Spending a day out trolling the shoals and many wrecks for spanish mackerel will definitely get the adrenalin pumping or dropping a fresh squid bait down to the depths will surely ensure a tug of war with speicies such as coral trout, emperor, fingermark bream and nannygai. To make it all   more interesting,    you never know what you will catch . Cobia, mahi mahi, tuna , Sailfish are quiet common and juice fat red emperor from the shallows are in for a chance.   

The tropical reefs of Queensland are abound with fish life and to try and list them is impossible but trying to catch them is an adventure worth pursuing.
